A fictional story based on the kidnap of 276 girls in Chibok, Buried beneath the boabab tree gives an insight on the effects of Boko Haram on the lives of young girls living in North Eastern Nigeria.
Buried beneath the boabab tree by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani is a good read and I recommend it.

Hooked for life is a collection of 45 essays divided in 3 parts. It a must read for every crocheter.
“Hooked for Life is a celebration of what crocheting is to those of us who love it.Not an apologia to those who do not understand, for they probably never will. Not a defense of crochet, for it needs no defending. This book is a celebration of what is wonderful about the craft, nay,the art of crochet. If you love crochet as I do,or at least have a yarny open mind, please read on. There is more to honour than to scorn, and I welcome you to my journey."—
